Description

1987 Albin 40 Double Cabin Flybridge Trawler | 135Hp Ford Lehman Diesel | Bow & Stern Thruster | 2 Cabin/ 2 Heads | Upper & Lower Helm Stations | Flybridge Enclosure | Midland, ON

If you’re looking for a comfortable, economical trawler to cruise Georgian Bay and the North Channel, KANAU has a lot to offer. Built in Taiwan by Hershine Marine Corporation, this Albin 40 has a great two-cabin layout, plenty of living space and the equipment you need to spend extended time aboard.

She is powered by a single Ford Lehman 135 HP diesel and equipped with both bow and stern thrusters, making her economical to cruise and easy to handle around the dock. Upper and lower helm stations give you the option to run from inside or enjoy the enclosed flybridge.

KANAU has been with her current owners since 2014 and has been regularly maintained and upgraded throughout their ownership. Recent improvements include a new windlass and anchor washdown system, rebuilt Samson post and anchor locker, transmission shaft seal and damper replacement, updated engine instrumentation, solar charging, newer batteries, and a full Genco boat cover.

Below decks you’ll find a large aft owner's cabin, forward V-berth, two heads, separate shower/tub, full galley and convertible salon.
