The Rinker 342 Fiesta Vee in 2002–06) is a midsize family cruiser whose
crisp styling, roomy interior and attractive price make her a popular
choice for budget-minded boaters. Built on a beamy semi-V
hull, the Fiesta Vee’s original midcabin floorplan was arranged a
little different from the norm in that the galley refrigerator is forward,
under the double berth. Significantly,
Rinker updated the boat for 2000 (when she became the
340 Fiesta Vee) with a lowered floor in the salon and new, taller,
foredeck tooling that increased cabin headroom and overall living
space. An all-new floorplan was introduced in 2002—along with an
extended swim platform and additional fuel—when she became the
342 Fiesta Vee. The cockpit, with seating for six to eight, includes
a full wet bar with sink and refrigerator. Additional features include
a walk-through windshield, electric engine hatch, extended swim
platform, and transom shower.
