1998 Hunter 410

The Hunter 410 is a big dimensioned cruiser with a great accomodation plan. On Purpose was originally built with the single large aft stateroom, but with some innovative woodwork there is now a centreline bulkhead creating 2 private aft cabins. Very professionally done. She has been used as a cruise & learn & crewed charter boat here on Georgian Bay & has had 2 winters down south as well. As a commercial vessel, the owner has always kept the systems & inventory current & in proper working order. As a licensed professional his knowledge is second to none. On Purpose has the battened slab reefing mainsail rig. The B & R rig has the additional struts to stiffen the rig. Mainsail & furling genoa are both updated (2010 & 2021) Rigid boom vang. All winches are self tailing & the main halyard has a power winch to raise the sail.

Dodger, bimini & full enclosure. Windows replaced recently. Extra reinforcement over the dodger to accomodate the flexible solar panels. Stainless steel dinghy davits new in 2019. Cockpit cushions & speakers. Stern rail seats with cushions. Large anchor locker with upgraded Lewmar windlass. Deck cushions. Window covers.

The layout starting forward has the forward head with a double pullman berth to starboard in a private cabin with lockers & shelving. The main salon consists of the dinette to starboard with a custom extra table leaf to enable seating & dining on both sides. The nav station is to port with all the electrical panels & battery monitoring. The nav seat houses the starting battery. Under the nav table is the inverter. The house batteries are under the floor boards in sealed boxes. The galley features a separate fridge & freezer which had a new compressor installed in 2018. A 3 burner propane stove with oven & microwave oven are in the aft end of the counter. Counter tops are corian. A double sink with hot & cold pressure water is located in the midship end of the counter top. A new hot water tank was installed in the late teens. The double aft cabins each have a hanging locker & good storage. Cabin lights are all LED as are all navigation lights as well. Espar diesel forced air furnace ducted to all cabins. New aluminium holding tank for the aft head with tank level indicator. Original plastic tank for the forward head. All new sanitation hoses to high industry standards.
