1962 Hatteras 41 Convertible

When the first Hatteras 41 launched in 1960, it revolutionized the boating industry as the first large powerboat built

from fiberglass. Designed for offshore fishing for four people, and fitted with an interior suitable for family cruising with

a master stateroom, guest cabin, proper galley and comfortable lounging. Snow Goose is hull #9 of this iconic design. The original

Detroit 6V-53 diesels are in good running order (as demonstrated by the owners bringing the boat across Georgian Bay to our docks here in Midland.)

The interior has been mostly stripped out in anticipation of a new owner doing an interior refurbishment. Electronics are mostly updated & the systems are well maintained.

Exterior canvas is in good shape & the boat has a fitted winter cover.

Canvas is in good shape & has covers for both the cockpit & the flybridge. Bimini over the flybridge. Large power windlass. The bottom was recently stripped, barrier coated & given fresh antifouling. Teak swim platform. Teak cockpit sole.

The layout is as follows: forward cabin with 2 single berths convertible to large double. Toilet under the bunk. Vanity, hanging lockers & drawers. The head is aft of the cabin & has provision for a shower. The head requires new plumbing. The mid cabin has 2 single bunks & an access door to the head. Large hanging locker. The galley runs the length of the cabin on the starboard side.

Galley has 3 burner stove & oven, microwave oven, upright Frigidaire fridge, hot & cold pressure water. Ample storage.

Furuno radar, Standard Horizon GPS plotter, VHF radio, stereo, VDO knotmeter, Battery charger/inverter.

2 Danforth anchors, chain & rode, safety gear, fenders & lines.
